2016 Selfie Runway Series Allows Users to Instantly Try Top Runway Looks from the Palm of their Hand
New York, New York— September 8, 2016 —YouCam Makeup (Perfect Corp.) and Glamour (Condé Nast) are excited to announce the launch of their 2016 Selfie Runway Series, an exclusive campaign bringing the top New York Fashion Week runway looks to life using augmented reality beauty technology. This unique partnership transforms the NYFW experience by giving beauty lovers around the globe the ability to virtually try on a collection of high-fashion beauty looks. The suite of looks , curated by Glamour, are available on YouCam Makeup, the number one virtual beauty app featuring best-in-class facial recognition technology.
The series features seven exclusive beauty looks, hand-picked by Glamour beauty editors, makeup artists, and NYFW key players based on the top runway trends of the Spring / Summer 2017 season. Starting today, they will be released into the app daily, until September 14. YouCam and Glamour have also teamed up with one of NYFW’s most noteworthy designers to create a surprise real-time runway beauty look. This look will be available for virtual try-on the second it debuts during the live runway show.
