What Is the Dalgona Candy Challenge?
Not to be confused with the dalgona coffee, dalgona candy is the new challenge from Netflix’s Squid Game show. In the show, players are challenged with carving shapes of various difficulties out of Korean honeycomb candy. The mixture of sugar and baking soda makes a candy similar to toffee.
In the show, each player receives a flat dalgona in a tin with their designated shape and can only use a needle to chip away the excess candy.
