Gender equality has become a crucial component of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives as companies around the world look to close the gender equity gap and create workplace environments that provide equal opportunities to men and women.
Championing and Developing Women in Tech
As a female-led company, Perfect Corp. has made great strides to support women in their pursuit of careers in tech, and is committed to advancing opportunities for female employees in the years to come. Within the organization, 46% of management level positions are held by female employees, and within the US, 63% of management level positions are held by women.
To further its commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment, in April, Perfect Corp. announced its endorsement of the Women’s Empowerment Principles. An initiative put forth by UN Women and UN Global Impact, the Women’s Empowerment Principles consist of 7 principles that companies can implement in order to create fair workplace cultures that develop and support female employees.
